Webcams

webcam_080805  I’m really pretty proud of myself–I’ve got a vacation picture for you from my mother’s trip to Martha’s Vineyard. www.mvol.com has a series of webcams, and she called me this morning to tell me to look . . . and there she was! Right on Circuit Avenue. What? You can’t see her?

webcam2_080805  That little cluster of pixels in front of the white-and-blue building is Mom. (I know, she’ll probably be upset that I’m putting a picture of her on my blog, but really, I think it’s a pretty good likeness, though she’s not this grainy in person.)

    I did the same thing from Spain last Thursday night, with my Dad! We stood on the beach and waved to him whilst I made the telephone call telling him exactly where we were (it was quite busy that evening!) I was jumping up and down waving like a little kid…I get so excited!

    Heh, your mom looks a little bit like a Lego person in the grainy form! :)

    I’m very glad you’re happy about both of the cameras, because that’s what it’s all about. Providing for needs that you may not even have realized you had! :)

    Why do you think I have so many spinning wheels now? :)
