I like the last answer myself, it’s the perfect answer for people who don’t know you. As for band-aids, I keep some clear ones for normal use, but more often, when it’s in an exposed spot and nothing will hide it, I got for whimsy. I have sported a winnie-the-pooh bandaid on my hand in a full dress uniform. I told people I cut myself with the sword…
