We don't carve at the table, either. We carve in the kitchen - that way we can put some on a separate plate and tell my nephew who 'hates turkey' that it is chicken so he'll eat it ;o)

Beanie gets turkey dinner too - and was completely exhausted from having and extra ten or so people running around. So exhausted in fact, that Roger had to carry her downstairs on Friday morning because she just couldn't handle locomotion on her own ;o)

We had a nice relaxing Thanksgiving, too. I've never believe in carrying the whole turkey to the table and then carving it. First of all, it makes a mess! And second of all, the rest of the food is going to get cold while everyone waits for the turkey. I think it's just a television prop!
