Olympic Knitting Curling Team

Jessalu and I are proud to announce (a little late, but what the hey), the Knitting Olympics Curling Team.
The eligibility rules?
- You must have wavy or curly hair.
- If you don’t have curly hair, liking it is okay, too.
- If you don’t like it, but know someone who does, you’re in.
- Liking the button is enough to get in.
- If you’re not participating in the Knitting Olympics but want to cheer us on? You’re in, too!
How’s that for simple?
Oh, and as a PSA for you wavy/curly knitters–if you haven’t been there, may I recommend the Naturally Curly message boards? Not only is the main site interesting, they have a great store for hair-care products (not all of which are geared towards curly hair–it’s healthy that matters most), but most helpfully, the message board forum has just a wealth of information for ways to keep hair healthy and to encourage the curl. Go check it out!

Just what I need — another reason to be jealous that my brother (and my husband and my son) got the curly hair and I’ve got the straight stuff!

ok, my hair is curlier as i get older. it was stick straight as a kid, but now i have curls all over (the grey ones mostly, sigh). mark (my fiance) has very curly hair, and it’s down to the middle of his back. yum! yeah, i can dig the curling team
I’m not doing the Olympics either, but I do have wavy hair and I will cheer you on with as much gusto as I can. Oh, and I think Chappy should be on the team too. His curls are adorable!
