I found something out by "accident"... if you take 1 antihistamine it will often stop the itching immediately. I found out as I once took an antihistamine as I was going to go to people who had several cats and dogs. I was in Sweden and thus covered in m.bites... It was magical... And ever since I've done just that, take 1 antihist. and be itchy-free (I've also noticed that my reaction to m.bites gets worse with the years :)).
