In the Absense of Greater Inspiration

In the absense of greater inspiration, sometimes it’s most helpful to borrow inspiration from someone else.

that I lived just
the length of it.
I want to have lived the width of it as well.”

  1. What a nice photo. :) I know what you mean about words…sometimes you want a different, less-used word, but then, you wonder how that sounds to people. I do like your use of insipid. That’s one of my favorites. Maybe there is a blog program somewhere that introduces a new word every day, that you then have to work into a post?

The Ackerman quote is inspirational…something my husband and I talk about a lot lately. In modern vernacular (there’s a $1 word), “livin’ large.” LOL.

Glad you had a good weekend!

  2. Very lovely photo, reminds me a bit of Vineyrd Haven, but it’s a bit too crowded to be Vineyard Haven. Edgartown? :)
Lovely quote and one I strive to live by.

  3. Beautiful photo :o)

  4. What a beautiful picture and thought.

  5. Lovely.

  6. Wonderful picture. I do believe I need to borrow that quote from you and post it somewhere prominent in the house. Thanks for sharing it with us!
