We’re Sorry….

We’re sorry, we can’t come to the blog right now, because we’re too tired trying to catch up on our sleep as we adjust to the new, Daylight Savings Time. We hope to be fully awake and functioning tomorrow, but in the meantime, can we direct you to Eunny’s great news? And, on the plus side, Chapter seven of Fledgling is up. Meanwhile, please feel free to leave a message at the beep–we’ll get back to you just as soon as we pull our eyelids open.
Thank you, and have a nice day.

Yeah…I’m with you. Hate the Daylight Savings time thing. If I’m going to feel jetlagged, I should have least have had the privilege of traveling halfway around the world.
i’ll probably be telling this story all night.
liam hates going to school in the dark. they have to be at school by 730, as class starts at 745. he walked out the door at 715, and i heard him howl “NOOOOOOOOOO!” i felt like doing it myself
And here I thought it was the Zyrtec in my case!
Isn’t it amazing what a difference 1 hour makes.
Oh boy – I’m with you guys – 6 hours sleep is just not going to cut it!!
Cursed DST. ….zzzzzzz….
Yeah…. nobody likes this deal. I can’t wait until they get rid of it next year. I mean, why would anyone want half a country thrown into jet lag to begin with?
This has been the toughest one for me to date. DST is not an energy saver. My feeling is just pick a time and stick with it. I’m tired of getting up so long before dawn. Give Chappy a hug for me.
Adjusting to the time change every spring is a bear!
I saw Eunny’s news. Fabulous, isn’t it?
that really is great news for Eunny! I pretty much like DST as it is LIGHT when I get out of work and will now be light when I get off the train an hour later. I think today the twins have adjusted to the time change and are back on their “schedule” though Alex’s sunday night earache made for one heck of a monday.
I was excited about Eunny’s news too! I’ve been feeling quite sleepy in the mornings but not at night! But then again I was getting over a 3 hour jet lag that turned into 4 only 24 houers after I got home!
I can totally sympathize with your sleepiness.
I’m with you too! The cats still don’t understand why I feed them an hour early, especially in the morning because now it is dark and they are all asleep!
Every year I curse louder and longer at DST. I can fly to Colorado and make a one-hour time change just fine, but I can’t handle it when the sun is suddenly coming up at the wrong time. I wonder if the energy savings makes up for the decreased productivity?
I love DST and having light after work, but I’m pretty exhausted. Glad to hear it isn’t just me!
Just found out about Eunny, which is really amazing. It’s nice to know that life can hold good surprises for us all!

Thanks for playing! DST is a rough adjustment for sure! But the sun comes up so early here that a lot of folks think we should be on Atlantic time w/ the Maritimes! So it is as though we are getting more in synch (as far as sunlight and clock time) with the rest of the country. But still, takes a few days to get over that lost hour.
