Silver Lining

Well, I will (grudgingly) admit–much as I hate the adjustment to Daylight Savings Time, it WAS kind of nice to catch the tail end of this obviously beautiful sunrise on the way to work the other morning.
I suppose even waking up in the dark has SOME compensations.

We were just talking about the pain of getting up in the dark once again on Wednesday. Though I do suppose seeing the sunrise is a consolation.
To me, there is no compensation for getting up in the dark! Doesn’t bother my husband at all! But I love looong summer evenings and he hates them! Oh well… And, Deb, the storm’s a-comin’ your way! It was dry this morning but then the sleet and sleet/snow came (still snowing lightly). Roads are nasty here in SW PA.
Hmph. I was catching the sunrise right as I got to work before…
Oh, I haven’t made the adjustment yet! Can’t get to bed before 11 or up before 7:30!!! I think we should just keep this “time” all year and in the winter just have school and/or work start later. Would it be just as easy to set school back or ahead an hour as it is for everyone to change their clocks???
Gorgeous picture, btw…
