Cherry?

I’m not entirely sure, but I think this is a Japanese Cherry Tree. But no matter what it was, it was stunning when I took its picture last month.

    Very pretty! But, most cherry trees flower first, then leaf out. Apple trees tend to leaf out, then flower. So I think it’s an apple tree. There are exceptions, of course, and this spring has been so strange that almost nothing surprises me any more.
