This is exactly how Chappy feels about Halloween.
The rest of us? Not so much throat lozenges, but earplugs…. (Remember? I’ve told you this before. And the year before, too.)
In our house, this least-favorite holiday will always be known as "Barking Day."
But for all of you who love the holiday? Enjoy yourselves!

House Calls
LOL! I’m having Jeanne and her husband over tonight so they can hide from trick or treaters in comfort in my condo, instead of sitting at home with the lights off!
For us 4th of July is harder on the cats (they hate the loud noises and cower!), but we live on a busier street, so no trick-or-treaters come to our house. Hope you make it through the evening!

Ha! So do you turn out your lights?
We have to close the kitties up in the basement to make sure they don’t run out into the night. So they stand at the door and “meyowl” very loudly. It’s not a meow and it’s not a howl. Some weird yodelling thing. Very Halloween-y, though…
Great cartoon. That is exactly what our house is like on Halloween. At least I am at work this year and DH deals with Madison. Oh, yeah and the Trick or Treaters.
Aw that stinks for you folks! Hope Barking Day wasn’t too bad.
