Autumn Wonderland
The song carols about a Winter wonderland, of course, but when you mix the two seasons together … well, it might be confusing, but awfully pretty.
Of course, my favorite picture of the day didn’t involve the juxtaposition of pretty, autumn leaves with fluffy white snow.
No. This was my favorite picture of the day:
My very happy little boy when I let him into the backyard during my lunch break. I stood on the deck and threw snowballs for him to chase. Well, some for him to chase, and some for him to catch. Doesn’t he look cute and happy with the snow on his nose?
It’s just a shame I had to head back to the office, because all that snow is gone now. It’s gray and raining and altogether blah, but . . . it sure was pretty, driving this morning!

House Calls
You can have the snow! Most all that storm missed us…oh, we had some nonsense the other day, but not on the one you got today.
You should bring Chappy here, Deb. We have about nine inches of snow and it’s not melting yet! I hope there’s school tomorrow. Tyler’s exhausted from shoveling and bike riding. Love you!

Love how the pretty leaf colors show through the snow. Awesome pics. Too bad we didn’t get any of that here in NYC, but I know we will eventually get our fair share. Looks like Chappy was having an awesome time playing! Lucky him.

We woke up to snow this morning (Dobby’s first experience driving in it to school and Jazz’ first experience with it at all - such excitement!) so beautiful!

Great post title. The mix of snow and autumn foliage was freaky. And the snow was perfect for snowballs, which must’ve made Chappy very happy.
The snow looked great while it lasted though. We haven’t gotten any snow yet — just the grey drizzle and rain. I’m hoping it will be cold enough by Thanksgiving so that we get some of that pretty, fresh snow to cover everything!
