The Yearly Recap
I’ve done a recap for the last two years, so I had to this year, also, right?
In 2007, I….
- Celebrated Dad’s 70th birthday.
- Admired, then almost killed one of my African Violets. (Which made a complete recovery)
- Tested various Teas and then Had dinner for what turned out to be the last time at Dad’s favorite German restaurant. The Triangle Hofrbrau had been around since 1936 and just closed last month. I wish we had known so we could have gotten there one last time. There really just aren’t that many German restaurants in northern NJ any more.
- Dad and Chappy finished last year’s batch of Stollen
- I showed off my teapot collection and then made quite a list of great places to buy TEA.
- Got ready for a guest, and made one of my very favorite pots of soup
- Entertained and was-entertained by Liz.
- Celebrated Mom’s (mumble) birthday. With the family, too.
- Baked cookies.
- Spent the day with Risa.
- Finished entering eleven years’ worth of reading titles into the computer.
- Actually got my Dad to the park with Mom, Chappy, and me (a rarity).
- Admired my own WIP fortitude.

2007 was a great year for me too! The best part for me was making so many new fibery friends, including you. I’m looking forward to spinning some more on Saturday!
