Update
First things first: Chappy seems to be fine. It’s been about 12 hours since The Incident and he’s his usual bouncy self. I haven’t seen any, er, solid evidence of the, um, problem but I’m not really sure how long these things usually take to work through the system. It’s been about 12 hours. I gave him a smallish supper, just in case, but gave him a generous helping of Shed Stop, figuring a little extra oil couldn’t hurt . . . and it sure sounded better than a Vaseline sandwich. (Shudder–did you see Keri’s comment? I’m sure it’s effective, but . . . !)
Now, my Phildar is moving along. It’s all sewn together and I’ve got one of the button bands done. I tried it on to decide where I want the button before knitting the second one, which I’ll start tonight. Then, all that will be left is sewing on the collar and the button.
And yes, I know, you can’t really see any details in this picture, but trust me, it looks lovely. I’ll show actual details when it’s done.
In today’s nostalgia? My first contest (which was a fun one!). My lovely Peacock shawl. My little tribute to my sister for her birthday. And then there was the one for Chappy. And another one. And then there was the introduction to my new camera. Got my 1000th comment.

I had to laugh at your comment about the “food service”. Ice Cream and a sandwich usually sounds like an appetizing lunch, but…lol. The thing I’ve learned with pugs is that they will eat anything, especially if you give it to them
) I am glad to hear that Chappy is doing okay (he does look cozy in his towel). Phildar is looking pretty as well (I love the colour).

Glad to hear he’s doing fine. The fellow I commute with now says it take about 2 days to pass on through.
Crazy pets! It makes me crazy when one of the cats does something like that — I get terribly worried and then nothing comes of it at all. I guess they are better adapted to doing these things then we give them credit for, but still! The worry can turn your hair grey! Glad Chappy is doing well!

When my dogs got into the Pecan Pie, the only way of determining when it had all “passed” was to do a little CSI-style work- with a scoop.
You won’t have to sift- the weird stuff usually is very visible. Ah, the joys of pet ownership!

Chappy – bad boy! Leave the hair dye apparatus alone! Hair dyeing is IMPORTANT! Please only steal and eat foodstuffs. Latex is not a foodstuff. Not even here in San Francisco. Understand? Your hair looks good btw…go play!
