Another Chappy
What? Another Chappy?
Impossible! Because, of course, there could never really be another–my boy is totally unique.
But look at all that fur.
There must be enough there for another dog, don’t you think?
Really, he’s had quite a day. While I was home at lunch, I ground his nails (which, naturally, he just loves), but rewarded him with a short, brisk walk before I headed back to the office. Then, because of the holiday weekend, I got out an hour early, so that gave me time to do his haircut AND his weekly bath before supper.
Really, it’s been quite the spa day … pity he doesn’t enjoy it more.
I still can’t believe that Easter is this weekend. It’s the earliest it’s been since 1913, and won’t be this early again until the 23rd century. I was proud of myself, though, for remembering how they determine the date each year–the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring equinox. Thursday was the equinox, and today is the full moon. Really, it could only have possibly been one day earlier, so this is really as early as it gets! A couple people at work were complaining that they barely had time to get their St. Patrick’s Day decorations up before they had to take them down for the Easter decorations. (I know, it’s tragic, huh?)

Dang it, I meant to write The Empire Strikes Back. I can describe the scene in detail, if you’d like. It’s in the infirmary aboard the spaceship, after the evacuation of Hoth, after Leia kisses Luke, Luke smirks at Han, and Han (the nerferter) gets miffed when Chewbacca laughs…..
