I agree with Fiberjoy, that was some serious spinning! It makes me miss my wheel. *sigh*

As for plying the colors together or not, do you know what project you want to use the yarn for? What type of stitch pattern. I like the marled yarn samples you showed us, but if your project calls for any intricate stitchwork the colors plied together would probably obscure that a bit. No matter which you choose it’ll be great though because it’s handspun!
