Empty
I’ve got nothing.
No, no, not as in “I’ve got nothing to talk about.”
I’ve got nothing in my knitting bag.
Not only is my sweater done (except the buttons), but so are myAspen-handspun wrist-warmers. (Well, except for weaving in the ends.) On the plus side, I’ve got something new to read….
And there’s the spinning, too. I’m really happy with the way this yarn is looking.
I wound some yarn into balls, too. The color looks very brownish-yellow because of the light (hey, it was rainy, and the light does reflect pretty yellowy off those walls), but you’ve seen this before. It’s the STR Carbon that I spun last year. It didn’t all fit on my ball-winder at one time, so I wound it into two balls.
The only problem is that I don’t know exactly what I want to do with it.
Sheesh. I really can’t remember the last time THIS happened! Obviously it’s a good thing I started those socks on Friday. Although the first one is already up to the heel, so that’s not going to last very long….

Oh oh………….. *dramatic tension inducing music plays*

I panic at times like this. I am finishing the second toe of my March socks and then I’ll have no really portable knitting. I have some handspun to make into mittens for my daughter, but there’s still the winding and the swatching to do. Ack!
On the other hand, a long, leisurely stroll through the Ravelry pattern browser can typically cure this problem. Have you got some time this week?

Wow! You’ll be able to pick absolutely anything, and start on it right away! Are you leaning towards a shawl or sweater or something else?
Yiii!!! Empty!!!
But the yarn looks fabulous, both the blue and the Carbon.

Talk about staring into the void! Your knitting bag is an empty chasm. Just put your handspun in it so the emptiness doesn’t hurt my eyeballs. Loving the blue yarn!
