Thunder!

Poor Chappy–look at those wide eyes! We had a big thunderstorm this afternoon which he did NOT enjoy. In fact, at one point, he was huddled in the upstairs hallway (no windows, you know), and my Dad stretched out on the floor next to him to comfort him. Wasn’t that nice of him?
But, to add insult to injury, in addition to Mother Nature’s bombardment this afternoon (though thankfully not as bad as the one Anne got), tonight there are fireworks. More booming! So unfair.
My socks are coming along nicely, though. I’d say the legs are about halfway done. It’s really not that long before Susan’s going to get her socks!

We were hit by a huge storm in the middle of the outdoor festival where we were doing a demo…yay. ;o) I hope Chappy makes it through the fireworks okay!

Poor Chappy. I know if Panda were reading this post, she’d using some choice words to describe what she thinks of loud boomy things. It’s small consolation, but the feeling is mutual amongst your virtual doggy friends.

I was in the A&P when the thunderstorm hit. Wow, was it loud! By the time I finished shopping it was over. I heard the fireworks and saw the glow over the wee mountain/hill. What is up with all the fireworks? There were some the weekend before also.

Poor chappy! I could tell our pup is losing her hearing as the 4th of july did not freak her out this year. Chappy does look so scared! Nice socks!

Poor Chappy. One of my dogs really hates t-storms, fireworks anything loud and booming. The other two don’t care much, except the youngest thinks it’s gunshots so maybe something to retrieve?
