It appears that you are better off just waiting until it's in stock, and then ordering. That's why I never pre-order, because I hear this type of thing from my friends. My LYS owner is so good about ordering new titles, that I like to purchase a lot of them from her, although I don't get the big discount from amazon, but I also get to look through the ones I think I might like and decide if I want to buy the new books or not. But, I didn't need to know about the KnitPicks sale. Dude I'm all over it.
