Notes2

Did you know the new Knitty is up?

But, before you head over, check out this story about a woman who wore her dog as a stole to get around “No Dogs Allowed” restrictions. I wonder if I could get Chappy to do that?

(Although, of course, in this day and age, I’d risk having some PETA person through pigs blood in his face … though, imagine their surprise when they did!)

  1. Very funny article. Wherever did you find it? It’s a hoot. I don’t think my Wilma would work out so well. Too stocky. Plus her tongue would hang out ruining the look (and my clothes).

The story really put a smile on my face. Thanks!

  2. My brother does that with his Shit-Tzu, but he doesn’t leave the house like that!

I tried to look at Knitty yesterday and had problems getting the site up. I guess they were working on the new issue. I will go now and check it out!

  3. I think Chappy would be sort of heavy as a stole.

  4. Stella is a bit heavy for wearing aroudn the neck. She makes an excellent lap blanket though. Last night she just draped herself across my lap. So nice & warm. I saw the new Knitty yesterday and it’s a good one. So many patterns I’d love to knit.

  5. That’s a very funny article! I don’t think either of our dogs would be that still though.

  6. While I think Chappy would love going out with you, he might be a tad heavy to wear, not to mention his natural exuberance. That’s working the system though. I’d love to see someone do that.

Think I’ll be trying out that cinnamon roll recipe tonight!
