Good to be Impulsive!
Okay, so I don’t know if you read Ruth’s Knitting on Impulse blog or not, but she does beautiful things with yarn and jewelry. (Her tutorial on playing with color, and how she pulls out colors to dye with is inspirational for all sorts of things, too.)
I’ve resisted buying her stuff for a while now, but her Dark Water colorway pulled me in. But, it came with a bonus!
She posted at the beginning of the month that, for every yarn sale she made in the month of March, she’d include a custom, copper shawl pin, made specially for the buyer. Since I love shawl pins and I love, love, love copper’s sheen, well … that was all the added incentive I needed. And, look what I got!
Does this remind you of anyone?
Let me give you a hint.
Yep. That’s my Chappy, immortalized in a shawl pin.
How great is that??
Thanks, Ruth! It brightened up my day immensely. I really needed that!
One more look. Awww!
(And, did I mention that the yarn is gorgeous, too?)
