		<description>I&#039;ll second Yvonne. They are called solar shield films. They come in varying degrees of opacity -- I&#039;ve used a med blue version that is a one-way (yup, meaning that others can&#039;t look in.)

*Think shades on stickers.*

It helps to cut down the amount of heat and light coming into the room since it&#039;s perpetually summer all year round in Singapore!

		<description>Hmmmm.  Lowes and Home Depot both carry that film that you put directly on the windows to filter out the amount of sunlight coming in...or the allow for more privacy while still allowing you to see *out*.  You might want to check them out.  I have them on my windows and love, love, love them!</description>

While the angle of the sun will be a lot different in the summer (I hate driving in the winter because the sun is always in my eyes if it&#039;s out), you&#039;re still going to be getting a lot of light. Remote control blinds? Or some sort of sheers? When the sun&#039;s bright and you need the blinds, you&#039;ll probably get plenty of light, even with blinds.
